Account Executive

Location: Toronto, Canada

The Gist:

We’re looking for an energetic go-getter individual who will be responsible for prospecting, following up on existing leads, and closing the sale. That is, taking a lead all the way across the goal line. We are looking for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, is not afraid of innovation, and possesses the energy and will to win.

Must Have Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of successful sales experience in the Software industry selling SaaS products to SMBs and/or mid-market clients;
  • Proven record of effectively prospecting, nurturing, and closing prospects resulting in net new ”logos” for Easy Projects;
  • Proven record of effectively advising and influencing customers by utilizing consultative selling techniques;
  • Must have repeatedly met or exceeded quota and been within the top 10% in personal performance;
  • Sense of humour;
  • Must be a professional possessing formal sales training, and who maintains sales skills and knowledge through consistent reading and personal development;
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field (Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications);
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships as well as possessing excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Passion and attention to details – generic resumes will be ignored and/or shredded.

Nice to have requirements:

  • Experience with project management software;
  • Experience with SalesForce;

Project Management Implementation Consultant

Location: Toronto, Canada or Minsk, Belarus.
The Gist
We are looking for a smart and tech savvy individual who can be an Implementation Consultant for our web based project management software – Easy Projects. Implementation Consultant will be actively involved in helping clients implement and adopt our product. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Easy Projects’ functionality as well as various project management methodologies. The Implementation Consultant’s ultimate objective is to ensure initial and ongoing client adoption of our project management software throughout Client’s organization.

Your daily responsibilities:

Sales Engineer

Are you a new grad from a technical program like Computer Science, but don’t want to spend all day chained to your compiler? Are you looking to make yourself more marketable by enhancing your technical skills with real world business skills and direct client contact? If so read on…

We’re seeking a new grad with a degree/diploma in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Programming, etc.) to join the Easy Projects team in our brand new role as a Business Intelligence Engineer. You will use your finely honed problem solving skills to create compelling customized demo accounts for prospective customers and customized Power BI SQL reports for existing customers. Your goal is to help us increase user adoption and ultimately Customer Success.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with both the Sales and Implementation teams to play an important role in the sale of Easy Projects to prospective customers as well as increase our tool adoption and utilization via effective reporting for existing customers.;
  • Create custom demonstration accounts for sales prospects based on requirements provided by the client. Understand and map customer use cases to Easy Projects.;
  • Import customer data into Easy Projects using the built-in methods, typically from a CSV source;
  • Build custom, visual reports in Microsoft Power BI using data from the Easy Projects SQL database based on customer specified requirements;
  • Work in conjunction with the Development team to build a library of Power BI reports for inclusion in Easy Projects;
  • Communicate and work with both pre-sales and existing customers;
  • Conduct requirements gathering and create use case documentation from customers;
  • Other technical projects as required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of relational database modelling concepts.
  • Hands-on database experience with strong preference for MS SQL.
  • Strong programming/development skills in a modern language: C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Excellent technical and abstract problem solving skills.
  • Continuous learner – ability to learn new tools and concepts very quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to convey complex technical concepts in plain language.
  • Customer oriented and empathetic.
  • Great “over the phone” personality and comfortable conducting screen-sharing demos.
  • “Can do” philosophy – open minded and hands-on. Great sense of humour.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field: Computer Science/Engineering.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with SSRS, Crystal Reports or other similar tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel – Pivot tables, etc.
