Microsoft Project 2007 Import/Export
Version 6.3.1 now supports Microsoft Project 2007. With this new feature, you'll be able to import or export your project data including activities from and to Microsoft Project 2007.
The following is a list of changes implemented in Version 6.2.2:
Updated Navigational Menus
The re-organized main menu now focuses on
Projects & Tasks where you'll find the Quick Project Creator, Interactive Gantt Chart and of course all of your projects, activities and portfolios. Dashboard, Calendar, Meetings and Search have now moved into the
Tools category. And you'll still find all of your reports, options and settings under the previously familiar menu sections.
Approval Workflow
With the addition of approval workflow you can now control the development phases of all your activities. For example, you can specify that before an activity is completed, it must first be approved by a specific project team member. First, begin by configuring the activity status approval in the
Administration > System Lists section.
Now you can specify which team member will act as the Approver on a specific project through the
Project Details screen. Once selected, this person will act as the Approver for all project activities.
Based on your notification rules, the approver will be notified once an activity required approval and he or she can then log into the system to review and approve the activity progress.
New Custom Field: Hyperlink
You can now add yet another new custom field type to your projects, portfolios and activities: a hyperlink. Once filled out, this custom field will act is a live link to the given URL.
Copy Activity to Multiple Projects
With version 6.2.2, you are now able to copy a single activities to multiple projects within Easy Projects .NET. Simply left click on any activity and select
Copy activity to multiple projects from the contextual menu. Now you can select and add multiple destination projects for this activity.
Message Boards in Activity Details
Accessing the activity message boards is now easier! You'll now find the message board integrated into the activity details screen allowing you to quickly review all posts and post new messages for the specific activity.
