Company Schedule

Version 6.1 helps you better manage your project resources by introducing a new Company Schedule option. You are able to specify default number of work hours per day, set vacation start-times and add public holidays to generate an accurate resource loading report.

Vacation Planning

Vacation Planning allows each project member to block off days for which they will be away for vacation. This allows project managers to better plan their resource loading.

You will find this new option added to the Calendar section under My Projects.

Personal Weekly and Hourly Schedules

In version 6.1, each team member can set their own personal weekly and hourly schedules. Whether you work 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday or 3 hours a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, each project member can be allocated tasks based on their availability.

This feature is found by selecting a user on the User List in the Administration menu option.

Resource Loading by Role Report

Available in Version 6.1, you can run a Resource Loading by Role Report either by a default date range (monthly, weekly, daily) or a custom date range to display the loading of resources based on the selected role (Administrator, Manager, Developer, etc.).

Resource Balancing

With the new Resource Balancing feature, resolving over-allocations or conflicts has never been easier. When you hit Balance (Level) Resources button in the Resource Loading Report, a new report will be generated for you which will balance the workload of primary resources over the course of the project.

New Custom Fields Type

Have you ever wanted to add a specific custom field to all project tasks, issues and requests? Now there is an easier way! With the new "All Activities" option, you can instantly add a custom field which will appear under all tasks, issues and requests.

Quick Find Mode

When adding projects, tasks, issues and other activities, you will now see a Quick Find Mode next to certain fields. If you have a long list of options in the drop down menu, you no longer have to scroll through to find what you need. Simply click the Quick Find icon, and begin typing the option you are looking for!

New in Version 6.1, you can now specify Activity ID when setting up a depencency and search via Quick Find using the Activity ID number.
