Completely re-designed user interface based on AJAX technology

The new interface makes Easy Projects .NET a true Web 2.0 application with the help of on-demand loading, contextual menus, inline editing and other features that enhance the user's experience.

This feature will allow you to quickly edit key task details right in the task list.

Quick batch add operation for tasks

Thanks to this functionality, it is now possible to add new tasks or subtasks to a project right from the task list, which is very helpful when you need to quickly add a lot of tasks, issues or requests.

Contextual pop-up menu

Every time you see an item being highlighted in orange - it means you can click there. A menu will pop-up, featuring different actions or commands related to the selected item.

Expanded Report Generator

The new Report Generator has more data sources, some of which allow you to display the data in hierarchical order. For example, you can save pre-defined filters for “Urgent Open Tasks” that will always display a report whose tasks are "Open" and the priority is "Urgent".

Unlimited number of free resource users

You've been asking for it - and we delivered! Easy Projects .NET 5.0 allows creating so called "resource" users. These users are not able to login to the system, however you can assign tasks to them, thus allowing you to schedule their workload. This can be extremely helpful, when you need to know how your machinery or equipment is going to be used. And the best part... you don't have to pay for the licenses for such users.

Printer-friendly mode for every page

Virtually every page in EP.NET 5.0 can be presented in a printer-friendly manner, including project details screens, hierarchical tasks list page, etc.

Quick Panel with the shortcuts to the most commonly used actions

Almost every page has a Quick Panel, that slides out of the left side of a screen and contains the most commonly used actions or commands that are relevant to the current page.

Ability to customize subjects for the e-mail notifications

Customizable e-mail subjects that may contain project or task names or, for example, a new attachment filename come to the rescue when you are receiving lots of e-mail notifications, and need to quickly glance at the email subject to determine if this notification requires your immediate attention.

        a special permission allows a supervisor to add time entries for other team-members
