CL Resources, Inc. is based in Maryland with several branches throughout the United States. CL Resources is a very computer technology oriented company offering consultanting services and Information Technology department services as our on hand services are backed by in-depth experienced staff. CL Resources provides web design, graphic design and computer services to various clients, offers best services and reduces cost of employing staff in-house. In addition to our primary services offering, CL Resources also provides web hosting services and dedicated web servers that are designed to meet all clients' needs.

Challenge

Our company used Microsoft Project for managing projects but that tool proved to be too difficult for many users. These users managed their projects manually from the reports I generated using Microsoft Project.

Solution and Results

I reviewed and researched about 9 other PM applications to find the one that would fit our requirements to ease the use of PM applications for other users who are not that good at computers. The price had to be just right for our spending budget since we are limited to certain amount of dollars. The three important criteria in choosing PM application for us were COST, FEATURES and Web Accessibility.

I have narrowed down the choice to EP.NET because of its cost and all the features that came with it. EP.NET has met our needs in areas of Bugs, Request and Actual project control and it is accessible by web interface.

I was totally impressed how easy it is in use and how it is designed. I had a small glitch in setting up the software but EP.NET tech guys were able to resolve it fairly quick. It made us decide in favor of EP.NET instead of Microsoft Project as it allows other users to use it easily and without any problems which is a big thing!

Right now we have 12 users who are actively managing 38 projects with the help of EP.NET. The most important features for us are the bug submission and the request submission which is a BIG help! I would measure the benefits of using EP.NET are by 1000% BETTER than what I used before.

The features that EP.NET has to offer are incredible and we will continue using this software for a long time! Keep it up the GREAT work!
