1. Easy Projects .NET 4.2 Beta 1 is released

A short time ago we released version 4.1 and now we are happy to introduce version 4.2
New features and changes in EP.NET 4.2 include:
  • New icon was added to the Project List page that creates a new task under the selected project
  • Priority and progress filters were added to the Project/Task List pages
  • “View Tasks” button was added to the project details page, allowing to view a list of tasks inside the project
  • Ability to select period (Today / This Week / This Month ) at the Dashboard
  • Task Dependency list displays start and end date of each task
Unfortunately, due to the time constrains the following feature planned earlier for version 4.2 were re-scheduled for version 5.0:
  • Ability to create "milestones" in a project and then tie it to tasks
  • Expanded Report Generator (complex filters, predefined values, etc.)
  • "Move tasks" in addition to the “Copy tasks” button
Version 4.2 is available free of charge to all users who’ve purchased version 4.0 or 4.1

4. Tip of the Month

If all tasks and events for the day do not fit the calendar cell – click the “More Tasks” link at the bottom right corner of the cell. It will display all tasks for that day in the “Daily View” section of the screen.
