Now Available: Easy Projects .NET Version 5.2 Beta

• Web-Timer
  Users can now track time while they work. Like a stopwatch, the web-timer creates time entries as soon as users press stop - simply select a project and task, and time will be logged automatically.
• Custom Fields for Companies and Users
  Similar to custom fields for projects and tasks, users can now create custom fields for companies and users. Define instant messenger IDs, internal rates, anything you need!
• Search Projects by ID
  For organizations who find it easier to search projects or activities by ID rather than name - this new feature makes it possible. Type the project ID into the search box and pull up your project just like that.
• Quick Time Add from Task Details page
  Tired of opening the time log every time you want to track hours? Now you don't have to. With Version 5.2, add time entries for specific tasks right from the task details page!
• Book Time for "Resource Users"
  Need to track time for users who don't have access to Easy Projects .NET? Now you can! Schedule and track the work of "Resource users" without them having to log in.
• Dashboard Customization
  As in a car, the dashboard allows you to monitor crucial elements and we want to give you the option to choose what you see. Using drop-down menus, choose what fields to show under each section.
• Custom Fields for Filters
  Our existing filters were based on default fields, but having expanded custom fields, we thought it was only fair that you should be able to filter based on the custom fields that you have created!
• Gantt Chart
  As promised, Gantt charts have been updated. Similar to the MS Projects Gantt, the new charts create a visualization of activity dependencies, hierarchy, and progress - you will like what you see!
• Messages and Attachments Flag for Project
  How do you keep track of which projects contain messages and attachments? With the messages and attachments flag, icons will now depict the answer - clear and simple.

Tip of the Month

Estimation analysis is a truly unique feature that will help you to dramatically improve your team estimations. Every time you assign a task to a person, Easy Projects .NET will analyze his/her estimation history. It will compare the original estimation time with the actual time spent on all tasks. Based on this historical data, a coefficient will be calculated and a suggestion will be made as to how the estimated time for the current task should be adjusted. Who knew that estimations could be this easy?
