1. Easy Projects .NET Webinars

2. Registration for Version 5 Beta has started
We are very close to releasing the beta version of Easy Projects .NET 5.0 and we are looking for the beta testers!
Beta testers will receive copies of Easy Projects .NET for the purpose of reporting bugs, suggesting new features, and verifying the implementation of new features and bug fixes. After the beta testing cycle is over, each beta tester who contributed to the beta-testing program will be eligible to receive Easy Projects .NET licenses with a 30% discount!

3.Changes to the Gold Subscription conditions and benefits
Currently, owning the Gold Subscription entitles you (among other benefits) to the free updates and upgrades within 1 year. We are expanding this feature with the following amendment: "If no major upgrades were release during your Gold Subscription period, it will be automatically extended free of charge until a new major version is available."

5. Tip of the Month
Q: It takes Easy Projects .NET about 10 seconds to log me in. What should I do to improve it?
A: Such a delay can be caused by a .NET misconfiguration and it can be resolved by switching EP.NET site from .NET 1.1 to version 2.0
Here is how you can switch .NET 1.1 to .NET 2.0 for your EP.NET virtual directory:
- Open the IIS snap-in
- Right-click EP.NET virtual directory
- Choose Properties,
- Go to the "ASP.NET" tab
- Choose .NET Framework 2.0 in the "ASP.NET version" drop-down list
The application pool can be created from the "Application Pools" section in the IIS tree. Then it has to be specified on the "General" tab of the EP.NET virtual directory properties.
After this part of the swith is completed, you need to make a change to your web.config file, which is usually located at EP.NET root folder (e.g. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\EasyProjects):

<pages validateRequest="false" enableEventValidation="false">
