1. What to expect in Easy Projects .NET 4.1
While we are still working on maintenance releases for EP.NET 4.0, a separate dedicated team already started the development of Easy Projects .NET 4.1
This version will contain two new key features:
- Monthly calendar
- Task Dependency
Task Dependency feature will allow you to specify standard relationships between tasks like "Finish-to-Start" or "Start-to-Start". It will also allow you to specify whether project or task duration will be set manually or calculated automatically based on the duration of the "child" tasks.

2. Free desktop Time Tracking software from Logic Software
Easy Time Tracking - is a new product from Logic Software. It is a desktop time management and customer billing application. It allows you to track billable hours and create invoices and reports.
A free version of Easy Time Tracking is available for a download at: http://www.easytimetracking.net
Version 2.0 Professional Edition is coming soon. It will include multi-user support, export to CSV, editable reports and many other exciting features.
3. Tip of the Month
You can increase the performance of Easy Projects .NET by turning on IIS caching for some of the folders.
Please follow these instructions to enable caching:
- Open IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Select the Easy Projects virtual folder and expand it
- Right-click on the "Images" folder and select "Properties"
- Switch to the "HTTP Headers" tab
- Turn on the "Enable Content Expiration" checkbox and set the content to expire after 10 days (see Fig. 1)
- Click the "OK" button
- Repeat steps 3-6 for the "FCKEditor" folder
