2. Free desktop Time Tracking software from Logic Software
It is my pleasure to introduce a new product that was recently developed by our company.
Easy Time Tracking - is a desktop time management and customer billing application. It allows you to track billable hours and create invoices and reports.
Easy Time Tracking is available free of charge at http://www.easytimetracking.net
Future versions of this application will allow to synchronize its data with Easy Projects .NET
3. Tip of the Month
Version 4.x allows users to submit bugs/issues by email. This functionality can be configured by editing the web.config file in the Easy Projects .NET working folder.
<BugByEmail enabled="false"> <Options projectName="Default project name for BugByEmail" userName="EasyProjectsUserNameToAddBug" /> <Connection interval="10" server="POP3Server" user="POP3UserName" password="POP3Password" /> </BugByEmail>projectName parameter specifies the default project name where a bug will be posted if a project name is be specified in the email body.
userName - name of the user under which account a bug will be posted to the system.
Connection interval - specifies how often (in minutes) the system will check the mailbox for new messages
Server - your POP3 mail server
User - username to access your mail account
Password - password required to access your mail account
In order to submit a bug to a specific project, the project name should be specified in a message body in the following format: <ProjectName>
