Defined by custom notification rules, a group of selected users will receive an alert via e-mail once events such as adding or editing a task, request and issue creation, file attachment and other types of notification events occur.
Establish Rules
Separate rules can be configured for different system events. For example, an assignee will only be notified when a task is assigned to them, however all project members will be notified when a new issue is submitted or a message is posted on the message board.
Choose Recepients
E-Mail Notifications can be set up for every project and a Project Manager or System Administrator can choose the recepients for each e-mail notification that goes out.
Custom Templates
You can customize how your email notification look or what they say by simply changing the template files. Upload your own logo, change notifications to your native language, whatever you decide to do is up to you. You can always revert back to the default template if you made a mistake.
Create Your Rules
Each team member can specify which projects they would like to receive notifications for and how they would like to receive them. You can opt to receive a notifications "digest" emailed to you every X hours, or you can also choose to be notified about upcoming deadlines and tasks to work on this week.
